THE OPPORTUNITY The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting PARC Street Group's Compensation Consulting practice by providing the research, analysis, and project coordination that drive every client engagement. Working closely with the Compensation Consultant & Partner and Senior Compensation Consultant, this individual will develop executive compensation analyses, build benchmarking models, produce client-ready reports, and ensure every deliverable meets PARC's standards for accuracy and quality. This is an ideal opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys working with data, solving complex business problems, and producing polished work products for executive and board-level audiences. Over time, the Analyst will develop expertise in executive compensation strategy, market benchmarking, governance, performance evaluations and incentive design while gaining exposure to the consulting process from engagement kickoff through final deliverables. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, strong analytical abilities, and the discipline to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct executive compensation research using compensation surveys, regulatory filings, public disclosures, and proprietary firm databases. Analyze compensation data to identify market trends, peer group positioning, and benchmarking insights that support consultant recommendations. Monitor developments within the credit union industry, including executive compensation trends, governance updates, and market practices. Perform quantitative analyses supporting executive compensation studies, salary structures, incentive plans, and total compensation reviews. Support custom research projects and ad hoc analytical requests as needed. Report Development & Quality Control Develop executive-quality reports, benchmarking studies, board presentations, performance evaluations, and compensation analyses using firm templates. Build and maintain Google Sheets and Google Docs models supporting compensation benchmarking, CEO scorecards/incentive calculations, performance evaluations, thematic analyses, and financial analyses. Prepare presentations and supporting materials for client engagements. Perform comprehensive quality assurance reviews of reports, calculations, tables, charts, and written content before consultant review. Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, consistent, and aligned with PARC's standards. Data Management & Knowledge Management Maintain the firm's compensation databases, ensuring information remains accurate, complete, current, and secure. Manage engagement files, document organization, version control, and template libraries. Maintain confidential client records while adhering to firm standards for data integrity and security. Identify opportunities to improve internal data organization and reporting efficiency. Project Coordination Coordinate multiple client engagements simultaneously by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and internal deadlines. Schedule client meetings and internal project sessions. Prepare research materials, supporting documentation, and background information for consultant meetings. Assist with proposal preparation, engagement letters, and project documentation. Proactively communicate project status and upcoming deadlines to internal stakeholders. Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with consultants and other service lines on firmwide initiatives when analytical support is needed. Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, consistency, and quality across the Compensation Consulting practice. Perform additional analytical and project-based responsibilities as assigned. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 3-5 years of experience in an analytical, financial, compensation, consulting, HR, or business operations role. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related quantitative discipline preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and structured data analysis. Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Experience organizing and analyzing large datasets while maintaining a high level of accuracy. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Exposure to compensation consulting, financial services, human resources, or professional services environments. Demonstrated ability to interpret quantitative data and translate findings into meaningful business insights. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience developing reports and presentations using Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, or Canva. Intellectual curiosity and a desire to develop expertise in executive compensation consulting. High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential executive compensation information. Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership of projects from start to finish. Committed to producing polished, executive-level work products that reflect PARC Street Group's standards of quality and professionalism.
