Adjunct Manufacturing Instructor

Position Information Job Title: Adjunct Manufacturing Instructor Location: Yuba Community College District, Yuba City, CA Job Description Basic Function: Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Agriculture courses up to 10 hours per week. Organize and teach all levels of Welding classes. Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning. Teach day, evening, and/or weekend assignments, including distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses. Assess Student Learning Outcomes each semester. Participate in department, division, and college‑wide initiatives and committees as desired. Required Duties: Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Required Qualifications Minimum qualifications: any bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of professional experience, or any associate degree and six years of professional experience. (Professional experience is required for those holding a master’s degree.) Professional experience must be directly related to the teaching assignment. OR equivalent. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to candidates with experience that would demonstrate the clear ability to teach Welding to community college students.
