Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and available resources, establishing a complete picture for tailored treatment.

• Deliver one-on-one, family, and group therapy using methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy, ensuring that interventions align with evidence-based practices.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and fellow clinicians to create—and regularly update—individualized treatment plans that set clear goals for client recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention and assess risk factors, developing safety plans for clients as necessary during sessions.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, enhancing clients' understanding of their conditions and fostering community support.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes in compliance with ethical guidelines and agency policies.

• Connect clients with additional community resources and support services to enhance ongoing recovery efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will center on individuals undergoing detoxification treatment, often presenting with complex mental health challenges related to substance use. You will utilize a client-centered approach to address issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and trauma, providing necessary support through their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of experience working within a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly one that focuses on addiction.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a passion for continual learning and applying new therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills, with an ability to empathize and connect with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
