Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients and their families, addressing areas such as emotional wellbeing, coping skills, and the psychological impact of physical illnesses.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans for individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety and mood disorders, substance use issues, and other behavioral health concerns.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), crisis intervention, and supportive counseling, ensuring that clients receive the most appropriate care.

• Document detailed and objective clinical notes in patient records, adhering to our strict compliance standards.
\n
• Consult and collaborate with fellow team members and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and share insights for improved therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development, participating in training sessions and supervision meetings to enhance clinical skills.

• Perform additional duties as needed to support the mission and operational needs of Pacific River Counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions. In this role, you will connect with individuals in varying circumstances, including those facing gradual health declines, traumatic experiences, or requiring ongoing therapeutic intervention at our Hospice Center. You will play a critical role in fostering a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to express their experiences and progress towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, including successful completion of an internship aligned with professional standards.

• Active Washington State licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Must demonstrate recent experience (within the last 12 months) providing psychological services on an outpatient or consultative basis, showcasing your clinical competency.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Pacific River Counseling offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
