We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Sous Chef to join our team and to help deliver unforgettable hospitality in a one-of-a-kind setting.

What You’ll Do:

·         Maintain a high level of food quality and standards ensuring guest satisfaction 

·         Maintain a high standard of safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen 

·         Oversee quality standards and ensure that department rules, policies and procedures are maintained

·         Supervises the production of all food items

·         Execute menu items in a timely and efficient manner to meet and exceed guest expectations

·         Responsible for the monthly inventory of all items in the kitchen

·         Ensure recipe standards are being followed in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards 

·         Attend mandatory pre shift briefings

What We’re Looking For:

·         3 years experience working as a Sous Chef or higher

·         Excellent communication skills in the English language both written and verbal

·         The ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently

·         The ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards

·         Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team

·         Full ownership of your role

·         Possession of valid Food Handler Card

·         Valid documentation of your right to work in the U.S
