Accounts Payable Clerk

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This role involves processing payable invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and handling various accounting schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Process payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and other accounting schedules.
• Post accounting schedules accurately.
• Research and respond to all payable and vendor inquiries.
• Assist in other internal office processes as required.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or accounting clerk role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of invoicing and purchase orders.

Work Environment

The role is based within an office setting, where the candidate will use technologies such as Microsoft Excel and Office to perform their duties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
