Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorder symptoms, assessing their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, fostering a sense of empowerment and understanding.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to support ongoing development and recovery.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and various medical professionals to ensure integrated care, addressing all aspects of clients' mental health.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary focus will be on clients struggling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will work with vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic abuse, and refugees seeking support during transitional phases of their lives. Your expertise will directly contribute to helping these individuals navigate their challenges and pave the way toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
