Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring accurate diagnosis.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address specific client needs.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to both clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote effective outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s health.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.
\n
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed about advancements in treatment practices.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work toward reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base encompasses a diverse demographic, including those facing challenges such as homelessness, refugee status, and domestic violence. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide vital support to vulnerable populations who are seeking stability and healing.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
