Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in school and healthcare settings to support students’ physical development in an educational environment. This contract position is located in Roseburg, OR, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing therapeutic services to children within a school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist licensure and credentials.
• Experience working in schools providing physical therapy services to children.
• Knowledge of healthcare-based physical therapy practices.

• Strong communication skills to explain therapy plans and progress.
• Adept at evaluating students’ physical needs and developing individualized intervention strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to determine students' physical limitations and abilities.
• Develop and implement therapy programs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support holistic student development.
• Provide training and guidance to educational staff on physical therapy techniques and student accommodations.
• Ensure all therapy activities adhere to school policies and healthcare regulations.
