Lead CNC Machinist / CNC Supervisor - 1st ShiftJoin a Growing Manufacturer! Our client is one of Long Island's most established manufacturers and is currently experiencing tremendous growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company that offers long-term career growth, job security, and an outstanding benefits package.ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes while maintaining quality and production standards.Lead, train, and mentor CNC operators on machine setup, safety, production, and best practices.Perform machine setups, offsets, tool changes, simple program edits, milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and inspections.Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring equipment to ensure specifications are met.Troubleshoot machining issues, perform basic machine maintenance, and communicate equipment concerns to leadership.Qualifications10+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.Previous experience as a Lead Machinist or CNC Supervisor.Hands-on experience with CNC Mills and Lathes, including Mazak, OKK, Niigata, and Puma machines.Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Office.Strong blueprint reading, math, problem-solving, and inspection skills using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Ability to pass a preemployment screeningWhy Apply?Competitive pay: $32-$38/hour1st Shift ScheduleOvertime opportunitiesExcellent benefits packageLong-term career stabilityGrowth opportunitiesReady to take the next step in your CNC career?
