As an Armed Security Officer Television Network Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial office and media production location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with supervisors, first responders, and appropriate site personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when assigned, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations through required channels.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures; complete accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
