Stays abreast of laboratory legislation (Federal and State), technology advances, certification standards, and administrative and personnel practices.
Maintains current procedural manuals, reviewing and revising as needed.
Monitors and maintains laboratory equipment and documents all maintenance activity.
Establishes and maintains a working liaison with the Medical Staff regarding processing of specimens and evaluation and interpretation of results.
Maintain professional knowledge and proficiency in medical technology through continuing education and professional affiliation activities.
