Family Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated Family Law Associate Attorney in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing exceptional client service. Duties Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties. Handle matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, modifications, and other family law issues. Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy. Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests. Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Requirements Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. 1-5+ years of family law experience preferred. Skilled in establishing rapport and trust with clients. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet court deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Texas Bar license. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
