Manager, Contracts (Onsite)

Patriot Spares Contracts Manager Location: Huntsville, AL or Tewksbury, MA (no relocation). Company: RTX (formerly Raytheon). What You Will Do Lead the development of proposals, negotiations, contractual agreements, contract execution, and day‑to‑day administration. Provide sound contract‑management communications to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies. Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract requirements. Develop and enhance positive customer relationships for working contractual matters to resolution. Effectively communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization. Leverage excellent relationships with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business results. Domestic travel may be required (approximately once or twice per year). Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Experience with contracts administration and supply chain management/administration. Experience with U.S. Government contracts including negotiations and/or pricing. Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) terms and conditions. Ability to work independently while also partnering with others, working in a team environment, and deferring to management as appropriate. Experience contracting through an IDIQ, undefinitized contract actions (UCA) contract execution. Excellent written, verbal communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to develop effective and sustaining relationships with external and internal customers. Experience in a position requiring multi‑tasking and handling several assignments concurrently. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree or additional relevant certifications. Experience in high‑value federal contracts and multi‑annual agreements. Security and Citizenship Requirements U.S. citizenship is required. The role requires a security clearance. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
