With a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, we maintain a balanced workload that allows our therapists to provide focused attention to each patient while also promoting their well-being through professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify movement dysfunctions and develop personalized treatment plans that support their recovery goals.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, ensuring that each patient receives dedicated attention and care during their sessions.
• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving mobility, decreasing pain, and enhancing overall physical function.
• Employ cost-effective treatment strategies to optimize patient outcomes while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Collaborate extensively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Monitor and document patient progress effectively, ensuring clear communication with patients and their families regarding treatment efficacy.
• Utilize various methodologies and advanced physical therapy techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to achieve the best possible results.
• Promote a proactive approach to health and wellness by encouraging lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The patient population is varied, including individuals of all ages seeking to regain mobility and improve their functional abilities. Your ability to connect with patients and instill motivation throughout their rehabilitation process will be vital to their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California;
• No disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise routines tailored to each patient's needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document and track patient care effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing a diverse caseload with varying levels of complexity and patient needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience.
