Overview Registered Nurse – LTC Supervisor for a travel temporary assignment in Waterloo, NY. Start date 09/29/2026 for a 22-week contract, evenings shift (5x8s). Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,206–$2,364 per week Guaranteed hours: none Contract duration: 22 weeks Shift: Evenings, 5x8s Start date: 09/29/2026 Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (long-term care) Responsibilities Under direction of the Director of Nursing – LTC, oversee nursing unit operations and provide clinical supervision to staff on assigned units Ensure quality resident care through staff teaching and on-shift supervision; support clinical leadership across multiple units Communicate identified and potential unit problems to the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager and collaborate to resolve issues; maintain appropriate communication during off-hours for critical items Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the DON and Administrator within the established scope of responsibility; ensure continuity of care during off-shift and weekend periods Collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and residents and families; model professional behavior and teamwork; comply with NYSDOH requirements Demonstrate leadership and organizational skills, manage competing priorities, and promote a Healing Environment that emphasizes safety, dignity, and well-being for residents Requirements Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure BLS certification (AHA or RQI) required Minimum 1 year of long‑term care nursing experience plus supervisor/clinical lead experience across multiple units (charge-only experience not accepted) Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred CPI training obtained within 90 days of hire Ability to work evenings and function effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the placement Fast credentialing process Nationwide assignments available Extension opportunities on successful placements PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
