Drug Product Operations Technician

Eurofins seeks a technical operations support technician to maintain drug product laboratory equipment and ensure operational readiness for R&D activities in Groton, CT. The role involves equipment setup, material production support, preventive maintenance coordination, and sustaining a safe, inspection-ready laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up laboratory-scale equipment including tablet presses, granulators, blenders, mills, and film coaters
• Clean, stage, and turn over equipment and rooms to maintain operational readiness
• Provide first-line equipment support for troubleshooting, user assistance, and uptime coordination
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, vendor scheduling, and service follow-up
• Support equipment installations, capital projects, and SAT/IQ/OQ readiness activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with laboratory or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• Hands-on technical experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or equipment operations
• Ability to follow procedures, maintain records, and work safely in R&D settings
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Comfort working with lab users, vendors, facilities partners, and EHS contacts
• Preferred: pharmaceutical R&D or GMP-adjacent environment experience
• Preferred: Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with equipment HMI systems
