Pharmaceutical Development Analytical Scientist

Eurofins seeks an analytical scientist to support pharmaceutical development projects through execution of in-vitro biopharmaceutics testing, HPLC and UV-vis analysis, and data documentation. The role requires strong chemistry fundamentals and laboratory execution skills in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute test method protocols for thermodynamic solubility, USP dissolution, precipitation, and flux assays
• Prepare analytical solutions, biorelevant media, and calibration standards with accurate weighing and potency corrections
• Analyze study samples by HPLC and UV-vis, processing data and quantifying drug concentrations
• Review analytical data to identify anomalies and document findings in electronic lab notebooks per ALCOA principles
• Support laboratory operations including equipment readiness, consumables management, and instrument scheduling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field plus 2+ years relevant experience
• Working knowledge of HPLC and UV-vis spectroscopy for small molecule quantitation
• Basic proficiency in scientific data analysis and chromatography software
• Experience with in-vitro biopharmaceutics testing such as dissolution, solubility, or flux assays
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and adapt to shifting timelines
