Senior Manager, Drug Product Analytics

Lead analytical scientists supporting small-molecule drug development from early stages through commercialization at Pfizer. Drive analytical strategy, regulatory submissions, and team development while collaborating across cross-functional CMC organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop team of analytical scientists; foster technical excellence and career growth
• Provide strategic leadership for analytical development and phase-appropriate control strategies across small-molecule programs
• Serve as analytical lead within multidisciplinary CMC teams; influence project strategy and key decisions
• Establish and execute analytical project plans including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation
• Identify and implement innovative technologies and new ways of working to improve efficiency and speed

Requirements

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science with 1+ years pharma industry experience, OR MS with 5+ years experience
• 1+ year experience leading small- to mid-sized analytical scientist teams
• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives through matrix teams
• Track record leading analytical contributions to regulatory submissions and control strategies
• Experience overseeing analytical activities conducted through CROs, CMOs, and external partners
• Strong written and verbal communication skills translating technical issues into clear recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional CMC teams and deliver milestones

Compensation: $139,100–$231,900 base salary, plus 17.5% bonus target and long-term incentive eligibility
