Position Summary:

The Sales Manager works closely with the Sales Executives (internal and field-Sales Knot), coaching, consulting, and developing. Helping to reinforce the Kemper Auto Sales model (coaching), Guiding the SE in optimizing decisions around sales activities (consulting), and shepherding the team of SE’s to continue individual growth. Ultimately, the Sales Manager is guiding the Sales Knot toward executing on and accomplishing the defined objectives. This position requires regular travel in the Greater Miami area.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for sales employee hiring, training, and development to ensure a productive and effective sales team is working together on initiatives in support of overall company goals. Effective leadership, communication and collaboration with various departments and support functions are critical to this role. This position will cover the South Florida region

Position Qualifications :

Must-Haves

• 5+ years sales insurance experience, preferably P&C

• Bilingual English/Spanish

• Demonstrated track record of success in sales

• Ability to travel regularly in the Greater Miami / Florida territory

• Knowledge of Insurance operations to include, but not limited to: sales, underwriting, claims, marketing, product

• Effective communication skills to include written, verbal and presentation

• Must be flexible in nature and highly motivated self - starter

• Possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills and be a logical problem solver

• CRM and spreadsheet/reporting comfort, ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets

Preferred / Ranking Signals

• Sales management experience

• Private passenger auto and commercial auto lines

• Field sales coaching or territory sales leadership

• Independent agency distribution experience

• Florida market familiarity

This position is a remote role. Work can be conducted out of a home office in the the Greater Miami area. The qualified candidate will need to be able to travel within the area regularly. 

The range for this position is $99,000 to $164,800. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
