Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible remote work setting that accommodates a healthy work-life balance. Our therapists are expected to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This structure ensures that our counselors have the time to focus on their clients while also managing their professional and personal commitments effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration, which inform personalized treatment strategies.

• Work collaboratively with clients to co-create and refine individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, discuss treatment options, and share self-care strategies to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and address emerging needs.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with our team of psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver integrated care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders, demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in clinical case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to sharpen your clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients to help reduce stigma associated with mood disorders and promote a deeper understanding of mental health issues in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele comes from all walks of life, providing an enriching experience for counselors to apply their skills while promoting inclusive, empathetic care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
