William Ryan Homes – Tampa, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing and Systems teams. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate vendor pricing, community and lot information, and purchase orders within the company’s job-costing system.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Enter and maintain vendor pricing, house costs, options, premiums, and community-specific costs.
• Set up lots, models, options, attributes, and related purchasing information in the system.
• Create, review, and process accurate lot-specific purchase orders.
• Make timely corrections and submit purchase orders for Purchasing Manager approval.
• Distribute approved purchase orders to vendors through BuildPro.
• Process EPOs for Production and Warranty.
• Prepare weekly cycle-time and other required reports.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Systems, Sales, and Division Management.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and technology skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Two years of purchasing database experience; residential construction experience preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and ability to travel to division locations as needed.

Homebuilding experience preferred
