Speech Language Specialist Leave Replacement
The Ridgefield Park School District is located in southeastern Bergen County. The district consists of four schools, grades Pre-K through 12, and provides high quality instruction to over 2,000 students. Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate and Speech-Language Specialist Endorsement
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in the field of speech-language pathology
- Ability to effectively apply the principles of assessment, treatment and prevention of speech, language and hearing disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
- Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment
Reports To: Coordinator of Student Personnel Services
Job Goal: To help reduce or eliminate speech and hearing impediments that may interfere with the students' ability to derive full benefit from the district's educational program.
