We’re looking for a Bilingual Healthcare Career Navigator who is passionate about supporting students as they explore healthcare careers and pursue educational and employment opportunities. You’ll serve as a guide, coach, connector, and advocate—helping participants understand their options, navigate resources, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.

This role combines career advising, program coordination, community engagement, and relationship building. You’ll work directly with students while also collaborating with schools, employers, educators, and community partners to ensure participants have the support they need to succeed.

What You’ll Tackle

You’ll play a key role in helping participants move from curiosity to career readiness by:

Supporting Students & Participants

• Recruiting and enrolling participants into healthcare career programs.
• Building relationships with participants and supporting them throughout their journey.
• Connecting students to mentoring, counseling, education, training, and other support services.
• Helping participants navigate healthcare career pathways and educational opportunities.
• Supporting transitions into college, training programs, internships, or employment.

Career Development & Coaching

• Providing one-on-one career guidance and pathway planning.
• Assisting with resumes, applications, interview preparation, and professional development.
• Coordinating guest speakers, workshops, presentations, and career events.
• Helping students explore healthcare careers and understand industry opportunities.

Career Center Operations

• Delivering day-to-day career center services and programming.
• Maintaining career resources, educational materials, and workforce tools.
• Helping participants access training opportunities and career information.
• Tracking participant engagement, services, and outcomes using program systems and technology.

Partnerships & Community Engagement

• Serving as a liaison between schools, training providers, employers, and community organizations.
• Promoting programs and services to participants and stakeholders.
• Building partnerships that create opportunities for participant success.
• Collaborating with internal teams and education partners to strengthen program effectiveness.

What You Bring

• 2-3 years of experience in workforce development, education, career services, youth programs, student support, counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with students, participants, clients, or community members.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and programs simultaneously.
• Comfort using technology, databases, calendars, email, and virtual meeting platforms.
• A high school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are required.

The Perks & Practicalities

Location: Candidates should reside within commuting distance of San Joaquin or Stanislaus Counties. Compensation: $30-35 per hour Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package included Work Model: Hybrid work environment with a combination of office-base, school-based, community-based and remote work.
