The Administrative Nurse Manager, demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.Has a 24-hour responsibility for the supervision, scheduling, hiring, firing and performance appraisal of nursing and ancillary associates. Coordinates other activities including but not limited to inventory management, budgeting, and performance improvement activities to promote efficient/effective operations and quality patient care. Demonstrates leadership and clinical expertise in area (s) of responsibility. Responsible for developing and maintaining competence of assigned associates.**SCHEDULE:** 12 PM-8 PM. Monday-Friday.**EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:*** New York State Registered Professional License and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State.* Master’s degree from an accredited program required or a projected graduation date within three years of position acceptance.* Minimum of two-three years management experience or progressive leadership experience.* Minimum of three years of pediatric ASU/PACU experience.* BLS* ACLS* PALSMontefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
