About the role Our team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is searching for a reliable, driven Engineer with a willingness to learn to join our Engineering team in maintaining our hotel and creating a unique and rejuvenating environment for our guests. In this role you will play a pivotal role in preserving the properties standards for excellence while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Our ideal candidate will be dedicated to upholding the highest standards of comfort and functionality throughout the hotel. What you'll do Perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment Make repairs to air conditioning system, pool and spa, electrical fixtures, furniture, plumping, and kitchen equipment as needed Perform and maintain work to local, state, and federal codes Maintain positive working relationships with all guests and team members Respond to all maintenance requests in a positive and timely manner Effectively anticipate, identify, and solve maintenance problems Qualifications A passion for providing a well-maintained hospitality environment and at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred Trade school or college course work in related field preferred Excellent verbal and written communication Able to multi-task and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines Excellent presentation and grooming standards Able to maintain positive working relationships and consistent communication across all departments #J-18808-Ljbffr Stay Bardo
