Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in students’ daily lives as an on-site Physical Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Saint Johns, FL. This contract position covers a 12-week maternity leave, with full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) beginning August 10, 2026, through October 30, 2026. There is also the possibility of an earlier start during the summer extended school year.

In this role, you’ll support multiple campuses in an itinerant capacity, working with a diverse student population. Your expertise will help ensure students achieve greater mobility, function, and independence, empowering them to realize their full educational potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Previous experience in school-based physical therapy is highly preferred
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and age ranges as caseload and locations will be determined prior to assignment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, educators, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic interventions and assessments for students with varying physical needs
• Collaborate with educational and support staff to create and modify individualized plans
• Document progress and communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Travel between campuses in accordance with student needs and assignment requirements
