This full-time itinerant role covers a 12-week maternity leave at the start of the 2026-2027 school year, with potential to begin early during the extended summer session (dates to be determined). What you’ll bring:

• Current Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist licensure
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Expertise in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation for students from diverse age groups (specific caseload details forthcoming)
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites, fostering partnerships with staff and families
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Completion of required fingerprinting and ability to obtain a JLA badge (status of prior prints may expedite onboarding)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating the needs of students, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting their physical development within the educational environment
• Collaborating with special education teams, participating in IEP meetings, and providing consultative services as needed
• Maintaining timely and thorough documentation in compliance with both district and state requirements
• Contributing to positive outcomes by empowering students’ functional independence in the school setting
