Company Description Havana Central Restaurant & Rum Bar is a long-standing Cuban dining destination with more than 20 years of service in the tri-state area and multiple locations in New York City. Guests enjoy a 1950s vintage Cuba-inspired atmosphere with homemade Cuban cuisine available for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. The restaurant is a popular spot for happy hour specials and birthday celebrations, offering unique touches such as complimentary flan and a fedora for birthday guests. Havana Central is also a preferred venue for special events and off-site catering, including office lunches, corporate happy hours, weddings, showers, and engagement dinners. The team is dedicated to providing a lively, welcoming experience that brings the spirit of Havana to every guest visit.
Role Description The ideal candidate is a sales superstar with experience managing a heavy volume of both social and corporate clients, with a minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience. Looking for ambition, sales prowess and ideally a rolodex of NYC based clients across various corporate sectors that would love delicious Cuban food in a immersive Cuban environment! Plenty of room for growth, no ceiling on sales opportunity and a healthy base salary with competitive benefits.
The Catering Sales Managers main responsibility will be to generate event and catering revenue through sales and marketing efforts. You will work closely with the owner, Executive Chef, General Manager and Marketing team to accomplish this.
