HR Generalist

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and HR inquiries
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Maintain and update HRIS, personnel files, and benefit records
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Partner with department managers to support performance reviews, training, and development
- Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts employment laws
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs
- Assist with payroll processing, attendance management and timekeeping systems.
- Employee conflict resolution management.
- Company policy and rule compliance management.
- 2-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts and federal labor laws
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
- Legal industry experience is a plus
