The work setting for this role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to connect with students and families from the comfort of your own home or a functional workspace. Additional responsibilities may include occasional evening shifts or rotating weekend work, ensuring that support services are accessible when needed. On-call availability for urgent mental health issues is also a part of the role.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks designed to support the mental health and emotional stability of students within our program. Key duties include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to individual student needs, analyzing their unique circumstances and challenges.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing emotional well-being and supporting their integration into the educational environment.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions focused on ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and trauma recovery.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic methodologies to promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including educators and therapists, to ensure holistic care and well-coordinated interventions.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring student safety and immediate assistance.

• Educating students and families on mental health conditions, nurturing their understanding and providing resources for ongoing support.

• Documenting all interactions and treatment processes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and accountability.

• Participating in team meetings and case conferences to advocate for student needs and share effective practices.

• Staying informed about the latest laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines pertinent to mental health and social work.

Your primary focus will be on supporting students aged 5 to 18 who are facing a myriad of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This includes working with individuals diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and learning disabilities. You will engage not just with the children, but also with their families, providing a supportive network that encapsulates the importance of community in mental health care.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have the following preferred qualifications:
