Conscious Therapy & Psychiatric Center is actively seeking passionate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality telehealth and face-to-face counseling services in San Angelo, Texas. As an LPC, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals on their journey to mental wellness and resilience. The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience as you provide therapy sessions. However, you will also have opportunities to engage in in-person consultations within our outpatient office setting when necessary. We operate with a schedule from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, ensuring a wide range of availability for our clients. Our team is dynamic and supportive, with a strong focus on professional development and collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support, particularly during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they are informed about available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide cutting-edge treatment.

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals who have experienced trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, promoting a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure, particularly in crisis situations.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on holistic patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that foster patient resilience.

• Behavioral health generalist experience, with a willingness to work with couples; training will be provided.
