What you’ll do

• Portfolio Management: Maintain a assigned queue of accounts through regular review, phone calls, and consistent follow-up work.
• Negotiation: Establish payment arrangements on outstanding auto debt with a strong sense of urgency and firm deadlines.
• Fact-Finding: Conduct detailed customer conversations to locate collateral information and perform skip-tracing following established practices.
• Compliance: Preserve the confidentiality and security of sensitive information while strictly adhering to regulatory policies, procedures, and training guidelines.
• Team Contribution: Actively collaborate with team members to support a positive work environment and assist with special projects as requested.

What you need

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of collections experience in the automotive industry.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills paired with strong negotiation and active listening abilities.
• Technical Skills: Computer proficiency and a genuine eagerness to learn new software and systems.

Nice to have: Prior experience with Bankruptcy account management is highly preferred.
