Senior Corporate Accountant

About the Opportunity Our client, a growing property management organization, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. This role owns core general ledger and financial reporting functions at the corporate level, partnering closely with property accounting, FP&A, and senior leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across a growing real estate portfolio. Key Responsibilities Track and reconcile work-in-progress (WIP) schedules for capital improvement and development projects, ensuring costs are properly capitalized or expensed Review WIP balances monthly with project managers/construction teams to confirm accuracy of percentage-of-completion and identify projects ready for close-out and transfer to fixed assets Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process for corporate entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP Oversee intercompany accounting and eliminations across multiple entities/properties Support cash management, including bank reconciliations and treasury reporting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting packages for ownership/leadership Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking Ensure compliance with lender, investor, and partnership reporting requirements Support external audit, tax preparation, and any regulatory filings Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and close efficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr
