Senior Accountant

SNI Companies is partnered with a fantastic and dynamic Position Overview The Sole Accountant will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role will support the President and executive team with timely financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles and business operations. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and POS system entries. Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports for the President and executive team. Monitor and manage budgets throughout the year, performing variance analysis and expense control. Oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and internal controls. Process and review payroll (training provided). Administer benefits including insurance and 401(k) programs. Ensure compliance with HR policies and current employment laws. Conduct periodic internal audits for inventory, SOPs, and HR procedures. Partner with vendors and suppliers to maintain positive relationships. Participate in special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives. Support forecasting and financial analysis to aid business growth and strategic decisions. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in food & beverage or hospitality industry strongly preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced level required). Familiarity with inventory systems and POS software such as Toast, Tock, or similar platforms. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
