AP/Staff Accountant

AP/Staff Accountant- Fast Track To Accounting Manager Role

Our client located in the Norcross/Doraville area is looking to hire an AP/Staff Accountant who can come in and grow within the organization. Duties will include the following:

Maintaining all accounting functions including the daily processing and payment of vendor invoices
Daily receipt and posting of cash received
Set up new projects
Maintaining accounting software integrity
Monthly billing
Monthly general ledger closings
Assisting the Accounting Manager as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
2 years' experience in accounting
Familiar with general accounting concepts, practices & procedures; GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel (Deltek strongly preferred)

Base salary 50k-60k with tremendous growth potential.
