Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient assessments, recommending tests, and developing personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses alongside physicians or autonomously (as permitted by credentials)
• Teaching patients and families about disease prevention, wellness, and effective management of health conditions
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engaging in ongoing chronic care management and patient follow-ups
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care
• Accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or other specialty equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire them within 90 days)
