About This Role The Registered Nurse - Ambulatory (Multispecialty) provides comprehensive patient care by utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with healthcare team members. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Highlights Location: Uniondale, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychosocial health status. Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals. Coordinate care activities and document the plan of care. Implement the plan of care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Measure effectiveness of care and perform variance analysis for improvement. Collaborate with care team members and provide direction as needed. Administer medications safely and educate patients on drug interactions. Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning. Perform related duties as required.
