Registered Nurse- Ambulatory Cardiology

About This Role The Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Cardiology will perform age-specific care for patients using the nursing process. This role is ideal for nurses who excel in collaboration and patient care coordination. Highlights Location: Hicksville, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychological health status. Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals. Coordinate the cost‑effective use of supplies and document the plan of care. Implement the plan of care and ensure safety precautions are followed. Provide emotional support and discharge instructions to patients and families. Collaborate with care team members in planning and executing treatment regimens. Administer medications correctly and educate patients on drug interactions. Participate in patient and family education and evaluate teaching effectiveness. Perform related duties as required. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience 1-2 years of experience preferred. Cardiology experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required. Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain a BSN Degree within five years of job entry date. #J-18808-Ljbffr
