Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines. Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols. Manages ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) during transport. Administers approved medications and narcotics consistent with EMS medical protocols.
