Work Environment

This position will be primarily onsite, focusing on home care services within the East Amherst area. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, emphasizing teamwork among healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients in therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to promote their physical well-being and alleviate pain.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, as well as develop home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Administer various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring appropriate application as per patient needs.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Prepare treatment areas, ensuring all therapy equipment and supplies are organized and available during sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and optimal outcomes for our patients.
• Provide emotional support to patients to foster a motivating and encouraging therapeutic environment.
• Maintain strict adherence to ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for their rights throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
