Restore Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in East Amherst, New York. Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient well-being. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient demands. This collaborative work setting allows for open communication and shared expertise among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and functionality through evidence-based techniques.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and daily activities aimed at improving physical well-being and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, ensuring they understand their home exercise programs to support their recovery.
• Administer treatment modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting improvements in range of motion, strength gains, and functionality, to refine treatment plans as needed.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is sanitized, organized, and ready for use before therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create a cohesive care approach that optimizes patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a motivating and positive rehabilitation environment.
• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and upholding their rights throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or undergoing outpatient rehabilitation for sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure in New York.

Compensation and Benefits
