Work Environment

Working onsite in our bright and welcoming facility, you will be part of a collaborative team comprised of two other experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' needs, setting clear goals tailored to their rehabilitation journey.
• Administer personalized treatment sessions, managing a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on their unique rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize various evidence-based treatment strategies and modalities to enhance patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, incorporating manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens designed for the orthopedic population.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, lifestyle changes, and wellness strategies to promote long-term health beyond therapy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create an integrated treatment approach, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and patient interactions diligently to maintain accurate records for quality assurance and compliance.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes and foster optimal recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New York Physical Therapist License without any board or disciplinary actions.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing a proven record of effective patient outcomes.
• Experience in developing and executing individualized therapy programs that yield measurable improvements in patient mobility and quality of life.

Compensation and Benefits
