Adventist Physical Health Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice located in Buffalo, NY. This role is essential for assisting patients on their journey to regain mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position located in a dynamic outpatient office setting. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The clinic ensures an engaging work atmosphere, where teamwork and communication among staff are emphasized to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the goals and needs of each patient through comprehensive evaluations and individualized care plans.
• Maintain a patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized treatment.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques to provide cost-effective and efficient therapies aimed at improving patients' mobility and function.
• Reduce reliance on medications by exploring non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to meet the specific rehabilitation requirements of patients.
• Utilize various methodologies and modalities to enhance patient treatment and recovery.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout the therapy process, fostering a positive healing atmosphere.
• Document all services rendered and maintain accurate patient records using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Engage with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Evaluate treatment effects regularly, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily supports individuals with private medical insurance, including a diverse range of ages and conditions. We specialize in orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on restoring motion and improving the quality of life for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York with no past board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in designing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing empathetic patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to build rapport with patients quickly and effectively, driving engagement in the treatment process.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
