Work Environment

As an onsite team member, you will work efficiently in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The workweek consists of Monday to Friday, offering either a 9 am to 5 pm or an 8 am to 4 pm schedule, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic. You will utilize advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies to enhance treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, utilizing diagnostic techniques to pinpoint areas of concern.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address mobility, strength, pain management, balance, and flexibility.
• Utilizing a diverse range of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education in self-management strategies.
• Providing mentorship and clinical instruction to physical therapy interns, students, and other staff members, contributing to their professional development.
• Contributing to clinical research initiatives designed to advance best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Engaging in continuous learning to stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will specifically work with a diverse population of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries (such as joint replacements), sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will guide them through rehabilitation journeys that may include pain management, restoring function, and enhancing movement efficiency.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid New York State Physical Therapy license is essential to practice in this role.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Competence in clinical assessment and treatment techniques specific to orthopedic care.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in developing clinical education programs or participating in staff development initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will receive comprehensive benefits including:
