Location: Carrollton, TX

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay: $16.50-$17/hour

Position Summary The Shipping Clerk plays a key role in ensuring efficient handling of outgoing shipments, supporting shipping operations with accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

• Process and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Verify order accuracy, quantities, and shipping information
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents
• Coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight companies
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with transportation providers
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update ERP/WMS systems
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers or internal teams
• Ensure all shipments meet company and carrier requirements
• Inspect packages to confirm proper labeling and packaging standards
• Communicate with warehouse, production, customer service, and purchasing teams regarding order status
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damaged shipment issues
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to operate the company's systems of record
