Associate Account Executive - Screening

Guardant Health seeks a field-based Associate Account Executive to drive sales of Shield, a colorectal cancer liquid biopsy screening test, to primary care providers. The role involves prospecting healthcare providers, executing promotional activities, and supporting the commercial launch strategy across an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage primary care providers to increase Shield utilization for cancer screening
• Develop and execute territory-based business plans aligned with brand and national sales strategy
• Identify partnership opportunities with laboratories, primary care practices, and phlebotomy providers
• Monitor competitive landscape and market trends, communicating insights to cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to implement promotional activities and achieve company objectives

Requirements

• 2+ years customer-facing field-based sales experience
• Healthcare industry background (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales preferred)
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and Veeva
• Ability to travel daily within territory and occasionally for regional meetings
• Consultative selling skills with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
