Technical Sales Representative

IRCA Group is an international leader in the B2B sector, specializing in the supply of semi-finished ingredients for the bakery, pastry, and ice cream markets. Scope of the position: The technical sales representative we are looking for is a highly specialized figure who will support the Sales Managers in the South of Italy in technical demonstrations and training sessions for chocolate and pastry products.

Main activities and responsibilities:

• Demonstrations: follow and support Sales Managers in technical demonstrations for customers, distributors, and concessionaires
• Technical support: assist customers and distributors in the correct use of ingredients and semi-finished products
• Recipe development: create and adapt recipes to enhance company products
• Customer consultation: analyze customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
• Commercial development: identify new business opportunities and retain existing customers
• Product presentation: illustrate product features and benefits to customers and distributors
• Negotiation: support the sales team in commercial negotiations
• Collaboration with Sales, Trade Marketing, Corporate Chef, and R&D

Requirements:

• Training: technical training courses in the field are highly appreciated, as well as courses on sector updates
• Professional skills: in-depth knowledge of chocolate and pastry products
• Language skills: Italian. Knowledge of English is a plus
• Soft skills: strong empathy and customer focus, ability to speak in public
• Other: availability for frequent travel

Details:

• Location: based in southern Italy
• Working hours: full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
• Contract: agent
• Compensation: starting from RAL 40,000
