Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

• Administer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, effectively guiding patients to safety and appropriate resources.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient privacy at all times.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and suggestions aimed at enhancing patient care.

• Engage in ongoing training opportunities focused on cultural competency and evidence-based practices to stay informed about the latest research in mental health therapy.

Our therapist will work with a diverse patient population, focusing particularly on individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrants facing unique challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or psychologist within Texas.
\n
• Proficient understanding and application of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and culturally competent therapy practices.
\n
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a strong commitment to culturally responsive practices.
\n
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, aiming to build rapport and trust with a broad range of clients.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and competency in using technology effectively to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Commitment to upholding professional ethics, including maintaining confidentiality and establishing professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
