Work Environment\n

This role will predominantly be performed in a remote setting, which allows counselors to engage with patients through telehealth services while having the advantage of a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting patient intakes and assessments that focus on diagnostic and functional evaluations, collaborating with primary care providers to develop individual treatment plans.

• Providing brief and targeted interventions for patients presenting with mental health issues, while offering guidance for those requiring more specialized care.

• Monitoring patient progress and establishing follow-up assessments to adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring ongoing communication with primary care providers.

• Creating relapse prevention strategies aimed at helping patients maintain stability and addressing potential mental health crises before they escalate.

• Documenting all patient interactions and progress in a secure treatment chart, adhering to applicable guidelines set forth by the Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

• Guiding and supporting patients in compliance with medical treatments initiated by primary care providers, such as providing coping strategies for medication side effects.

• Offering consultation services to clinic management and collaborating with colleagues to evaluate outcomes and enhance behavioral health programs.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are highly preferred, as are individuals with a comprehensive understanding of community resources that facilitate mental health intervention. Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually, alongside a SIGN-ON BONUS for newly hired counselors.
